Blue Lotus is a family-run resort with 20 fan bungalows on the sunset beachfront at Ao Ban Khai. A popular retreat for travellers looking to swing in a hammock and relax next the sea, the resort offers budget accommodation Phangan style.
The bungalows are clean and big enough for 2 people. There is also a great Mexican restaurant serving up all sorts of deligts. For those with a sense of adventure, Blue Lotus has a speedboat and can offer wakeboarding and/or waterskiing.
The following bungalows are available:
- Beachfront Bungalows; king size bed, bathroom, fan, screened windows.
- Sea View Bunglows; king size bed, bathroom, fan, screened windows.
- Garden View Bungalows; 3 rooms with king size bed, 3 rooms with two single beds. All with fan, bathroom, and screened windows.
Built in 2002, all the bungalows are clearn and are provided with towels and blankets, the staff clean the rooms daily and change the sheets and towels every few days.
The Mexican restaurant has been established for 16 years and everything is freshly made. There is also an extensive western and Thai menu as well.
We also offer wakeboarding and waterskiing weather permitting. Other activities on the island can be booked through here. Thai and western owned & run.
Blue Lotus provides a peaceful, quiet resort yet still within a short taxi ride to the nightlife.

- Full Moon Reservation: A minimum stay is 4 nights, and arrival date is at least 2 days before Full Moon date only.
- Christmas Reservation: A minimum stay is 5 nights, and arrival date is on or before the 23rd December only.
- New Year Reservation: A minimum stay is 5 nights, and arrival date is not later than the 28th - 29th December only.
