Hansa Resort is situated amongst the shady palms on tranquil Ban Tai beach which is conveniently located in between Thongsala and Haad Rin, near the fishing village of Ban Tai on the serene south-east coast of Koh Phangan. The rooms and bungalows are available in a variety of styles to suit every budget.
The long beach at Ao Ban Tai has long been a favourite of many returning visitors to Koh Phangan and is part of the long unbroken stretch of white sand beach that runs from Ban Khai right the way up to Thongsala. Most of the land along the coastline has been farmed as coconut plantation and the area takes on a dreamy desert island feel with palms leaning in to the calm emerald sea. Ao Ban Tai has a broad beach that is protected from the high seas by the rich coral reef that follows the south and west coastline, providing a haven for beautiful and harmless marine life and a great place to go snorkelling.
The resorts are generously spaced on the long beach of Ao Ban Tai, making it easy to find solitude; and there are also a few beach bars if you fancy a drink under the stars. The fishing village of Ban Tai has some great places to try the local seafood and there are even a couple of party venues including the Black Moon and Half Moon events if you fancy dancing the night away on the white sand beach.
All the accommodation at the resorts of comfortable and clean. The cheaper rooms come with fan, while for those that enjoy more luxury there are bungalows with air-con, mini-bar, UBC satellite TV and hot water shower. There are only a few beachfront rooms, but all have seaviews and are no further than 30 metres from the beach. There are three styles of room; The classic wooden style bungalows, classic concrete bungalows and hotels rooms.
The restaurant and bar are on the beachfront which makes a perfect place to relax during the spectacular sunsets on Ban Tai beach - especially between March and June. The restaurant serves a variety of western and thai favourites - cooked fresh and made to order.
Other facilities include laundry and travel booking - and island tours and other activities can also be organised at the resort. Nearby you will find a variety of interesting Thai shops in Ban Thai and the late night 7-11 in Ban Khai. If you are out for the night, then Thongsala and Haad Rin are only a short taxi ride away.

- All room rates are INCLUSIVE OF BREAKFAST for 2 persons.
- Extra mattress is available at 1,000 THB per nigt(INCL. BF.) for Standard Hotel Rooms & Deluxe Bungalows only.
- Check-out time: 11:30 hrs.
- No accommodation charge to child under 12 sharing a same room as parents without extra bed. Breakfast surcharge is 100 THB will be applied to children aged 2 - 12 years old.
