As a longtime favourite, Lighthouse Bungalows is wonderfully situated on the tip of the Haad Rin pinnacle. A cluster of uniquely designed bungalows with a beautifully appointed restaurant, built within an amazing boulder setting which overlooks turquoise waters and the islandメs magical sunsets.
The rooms available start from old style Island Hut to moderm Concrete Apartment with massive balcony and private bathroom. All rooms come wth fan and spectacular seaviews overlooking Koh Samui. The infamous beach of Haad Leela is a short walk away, while Haad Rin is only a bit more further.
Haad Leela is also known as Haad Seekantang among the Thais, is about 15 minutes walk from Haad Rin town centre. Itメs a long white sand beach that is fairly thin in places and has a rugged appeal. Due to its secluded location, the beach was popular with nudists in the early days. There is still bit of the old Phangan vibe in some of the bungalow resorts and you can get far away from the maddening crowd in Had Rin, whilst still being able to pop in for a midnight visit to 7-Eleven.
Lighthouse has a total of 24 well-maintained and spacious bungalows; tastefully decorated with sunset sea views over Koh Samui and down the southern coast of Koh Phangan. There are 3 styles: Poppy, Daisy and Sunflower. All overlooking the sea with fantastic views.
The most basic style are the Poppy bungalows which are the old island huts with 1 double mattress and toilet/shower room no more than 20 metres away. - great for those on a tight budget. Daisy bungalows also have a double bed, but are more spacious with a large balcony and also have a private bathroom. The modern Sunflower bungalows are directly overlooking the water and inside are decorated superbly featuring tiled bathrooms, 2 beds and furnished tastefully throughout.
The comfort and beauty of the Lighthouse Restaurant offers a range of delicious authentic Thai and European Cuisine in an atmosphere of natural beauty and contemporary luxury. Overlooking the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Thailand, the Lighthouse Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (8.00am ヨ 12.00pm). You can savor a range of inexpensive dishes including traditional Thai soups, curries and noodles; fresh and delicious seafoodメs; mouth-watering fruits, salads, sandwiches and a fantastic variety of European meat, fish or vegetarian dishes.
